2019 Graduating Student and Family Send Off Dinner

We invite graduating students and their families to join us on Friday, May 17, 2019, atop Monte San Salvatore for the 2019 Graduating Student and Family Send-Off Dinner.

Amidst breathtaking views looking down on Lugano, the University would like to give thanks to graduating students and their families for making Franklin home over the years and wish them well as they begin the next phase in their life.

This long-standing Franklin tradition gives graduating seniors and their families the opportunity to meet, connect, and say goodbye before the excitement of commencement.

Date: Friday, May 17, 2019

Location: Ristorante Vetta San Salvatore, Via Funiculare. For more information about San Salvatore please visit http://www.montesansalvatore.ch/it/home/

Schedule:

18:00     Meet at the Monte San Salvatore funicular station to collect your ticket

18:30     Funicular ride begins on a first-come, first-served basis

* Please note, there will only be two funicular rides up. We ask that you arrive no later than 18:30 (6:30 pm) to secure your space as we will not be able to accommodate rides for anyone coming late.

19:30     Dinner is served

* Please note, that seating will not be assigned. Tables will be occupied on a first-come, first-served basis.

22:30     Two funicular cars will bring the group down at approximately 22:30 (10:30 PM) through 23:00 (11:00 PM)

 

Registration: Advance registration and tickets are required to attend. To register, fill out the form below.

* We ask that one student or family member register for all members of the group at one time. Space is limited and we cannot accommodate all graduating students and their families. Please register quickly to ensure a spot for the dinner.

 

Price: $70.00 per person includes: Roundtrip funicular ride, a three-course meal, ½ bottle of water per person, coffee after dinner.

*All drinks are available on a cash only basis, paid directly to the restaurant. Wine and champagne list will be provided at dinner. There will not be assigned seating.

Please note that the temperatures are cooler at the dinner site, so dress accordingly. This event will occur rain or shine.
